What to Expect During Your Initial Dental Visit
Our technicians will conduct x-rays of your entire mouth during your initial appointment and evaluate your oral health, allowing our dentists to chart your most suitable treatment plan.
At the end of your appointment, the receptionist can schedule more dental appointments if required.
To prevent pointless delays on the dental appointment, remember to carry the following:
- X-rays and the referral slip
- The medication you are currently taking
- Your dental or medical insurance card
Guardians or patients should accompany all persons below eighteen years of age at their consultation.
Please notify your dentist if you:
- Need medication before dental cleaning,
- Have an existing health condition, including an artificial heart valve, hypertension, rheumatic fever, and diabetes that might raise a concern before any medical procedure, or
- Are on medication like aspirin, heart medication, or anticoagulant therapy.
If your prior dental expert has taken an imaging examination within six months, you might ask that they forward your results to us. If there isn't adequate time, carry them to our facility. If more images are needed, our technicians could capture them at the facility.
